I should have been spending this weekend in the middle of a field in Donington, potentially doing irreparable damage to my hearing and body in general, but instead I'll just have to make do with a slice of cake, a cup of coffee and a smoke in the back garden.

Friday Night

It's Friday night, it's late, it's been a long week and I think I deserve a little something to relax with.

I Know That It's Hardly The End Of The World

I know that it's hardly the end of the world, but it's only the middle of the month, pay day is more than a fortnight away, I over spent on my food budget for the week, I've just smoked the last few, slightly dried out, dregs of my Charatan Eventide and a crack just opened up on the shank of my old briar.

A tin of Samuel Gawiths Winter Time blend, a cafetiere of strong, freshly ground coffee, a few squares of 70% dark chocolate and a large whisky would go a long, long way to making life a lot more pleasant right about now.

Bad Habits

Not the most politically correct or healthiest of habits, but it is international pipe smoking day, it does go down nicely with a bit of melodic doom and I've never claimed to be politically correct.

It's Been A Long Week...

It's been one of those weeks were it feels like a large whisky, a couple of bowls, a ton of freshly brewed coffee and some doom laden music are called for.
