British Summer Drizzle

So I headed out for a short walk in the traditional British summer drizzle, grey skies, swirling clouds and flowers in the rain. Not that I'm complaining, even British summers are too hot for me and the gloom suits my overall aesthetic.

And The Heavens Opened

The sky literally just turned black, the heavens opened and now it’s raining harder than I’ve seen it rain in years, but garden is looking lovely.

Sometimes I spend so much time stuck in my own head, trying to make my own world work, that I forget to look around me. I spend so much of my time being introspective and self critical that so much beauty passes me by completely unnoticed.
