I Chose Completely The Wrong Moment To Leave The Office

I chose completely the wrong moment to leave the office and head out to the yard on Friday afternoon. As I was heading back to the office the heavens literally opened and I got soaked to my skin in about 20 seconds, I have not seen rain like this in ages. I usually love the wind and rain, but not so much when I know that I’ve got to sit on sodden clothing for the next 2/3 hours.

British Summer Drizzle

So I headed out for a short walk in the traditional British summer drizzle, grey skies, swirling clouds and flowers in the rain. Not that I'm complaining, even British summers are too hot for me and the gloom suits my overall aesthetic.

And The Heavens Opened

The sky literally just turned black, the heavens opened and now it’s raining harder than I’ve seen it rain in years, but garden is looking lovely.
